The monthly meetings of the second Wednesday of each month took place as usual with worship, prayers and physical exercise to keep all fit and young.
The exhortation from the Spiritual Pastoral Director, The Very Rev Capt. Bayo Okunoren, is highly cherished by all, more so with meaningful contributions from members in the prayerful continual assurance that all will be well in Jesus Name.
The membership of the forum increased in the year. The new members were warmly welcomed by all with the chorus, “You are Welcome in the name of the Lord…”
ANNUAL GUEST PREACHER
The anniversary of the Elders’ Forum (CODISA 1) took place on Sunday 12th June 2016.
The Guest Preacher, Revd Canon F. Sofoluwe Bakare honoured our invitation to preach at the anniversary despite the short notice. We pray that the Almighty God will honour him and his family, and fresh anointing will be his portion also in Jesus Name Amen!

The Elders’ Forum have a reception and the Chairman was Mr. Bayo Ibirogba supported by Mr. Ladi Sole.
The 2016 Annual Picnic took place on Wednesday 12 October at the Legacy / Nigerian Railway Compound Museum, 17 Federal Road, Ebute-Metta. Elders has a refreshing, spiritually and physically fulfilled day. The atmosphere was serene and elders also endeared themselves to the materials in the NRC Museum.
There the Elders’ Forum presented our amiable Pastoral Director, The Very Rev Capt. B. Okunoren with a parting gift in appreciation of his services to the Elders Forum. We wish him and his entire family God’s blessings, grace and spirit filled in his new post.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT AND GRATITUDE
We thank our past leaders, pastoral leaders and the entire executive members for their unflinching support and co-operation all through the year.
We thank our CRM (Ven. & Arc. Tunde Osho) and pray that God Almighty will always hear his cry and “open new doors of blessing” for him and family in Jesus name. Amen.
We thank also our Nurse, Mrs Felicia Kerry, who has always been there to render her services.
We thank the Secretarial and all other members of staff of the Chapel for their tireless services to the Elders’ Forum. Their labour of love will not be in vain in Jesus Name.
