’It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed……. great is thy faithfulness’’ Lam. 3:22-23. We can all join Prophet Jeremiah in making the above triumphant, and thanksgiving declaration to God Almighty, for bringing us through the year 2022, and into another year.

We can all join Prophet Jeremiah in making the above triumphant, and thanksgiving declaration to God Almighty, for bringing us through the year 2022, and into another year. The year 2023 is a watershed year in the Socio-political landscape of our country, and as we have prayed and continue to pray, it shall be a year in which the glory of God shall appear to all men, as the arrogance and excesses of the oppressors are cowed.
June – Romans 4:5 – ‘’but a person cannot do any work that will make him right with god. So, he must trust in god. Then god accepts his faith, and that makes him right with god. God is the one who can make even those who are evil right in his sight ‘’ (icb).

John 16:8-11(And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.)
The ministry of good music is essential to the worship of the Living God. To this end, the Chapel has endeavoured to build up both the Choir and the Congregation for a good and uplifting pattern of singing...

reminiscences
From Year Book 1997/98 (Vol. 11) pg. 153: PRAYER
The prayer of the first Christians was simply a reflection of the LIVING CHRIST in their midst. It was prayer ‘in His Name’ and by this we mean not that a formula was added at the end of every petition, but that in all their prayer they joined themselves to the prayer of Christ Himself, and knew that it was His Spirit (and power) which prayed in them. The best worship they could offer was simply His self-oblation in them. Praying in that Spirit, the Christian prayer is immersed in the ocean of the Son’s communion with the Father.
In Holy Spirit praying, keep yourselves in the love of God (Jude 21): pray in the power of the Holy Spirit.
‘Keep your watch with continuous prayer and supplication, praying the whole time in the Spirit: with constant wakefulness and perseverance you will find opportunity to pray for all the Christian brethren.” (Eph.6:18 – Ward translation).
‘We do not even know how we ought to pray, but through our inarticulate groans the Spirit Himself is pleading for us, and God who searches our inmost being knows what the Spirit means, because He pleads for God’s own people in God’s own way’ (Romans 8:26).
To live in prayer, therefore, is to live in the Spirit, and to live in the Spirit is to live in Christ. I am not saying that prayer is a means or a method which we have to use in order to have more of Christ in us or in order to be more fully possessed by the Spirit. I am saying something simpler and more fundamental.

CODISA
The Committee for People with disabilities (CODISA) was formed as a result of some of the worshipping community of the Chapel of the Healing Cross, expressing their great desire to exercise their “diversity of gifts” in the area of helping people with disabilities to be self-sustaining. As far back as 1984, some members started to look into the possibilities of prospering work with people with disabilities.
