Following our visit to Abule-Egba, we headed to Triple Passion in Magodo, a home managed by three dedicated retirees committed to caring for children with disabilities. Although we did not meet the retirees, the matron and caregivers warmly welcomed us.
Triple Passion currently accommodates ten children: six with cerebral palsy (ranging from mild to severe) and others with Down syndrome and hearing impairments. The older children with Down syndrome and mild cerebral palsy joyfully introduced themselves to us, showcasing their bright spirits and resilience.
Our visit was filled with moments of worship, prayer, and heartfelt presentations. We donated over 250,000 Naira worth of drugs, diapers, medical gloves, and cartons of noodles to support the children and their caregivers.
Our visit to Triple Passion was a humbling experience, highlighting the profound impact of dedicated care and community support in the lives of children with disabilities. We left with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to continue supporting such invaluable initiatives.
