"THE WORKINGS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: John 16:8-11(And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.)

Chapel of the Healing Cross – Growing in Faith, Walking in the Spirit!

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Amazing Children,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! February has been a truly Spirit-filled month as we embarked on an exciting journey to understand the Holy Spirit—who He is, what He does, and how we can receive Him. Our Sunday School was filled with engaging discussions, thought-provoking lessons, and, of course, fun activities that made learning about God’s Word exciting!

WHAT DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT DO?

Romans 12:2, 8:9-10, 13-14

We kicked off the month by answering a very important question: What does the Holy Spirit do in our lives?
– The children learned that the Holy Spirit guides, transforms, and strengthens us as believers.
– We talked about how the Holy Spirit helps us live differently from the world by renewing our minds (Romans 12:2) and leading us in the right direction.

WHAT DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT REVEAL?

Acts 5:1-4; 1 Corinthians 2:10

This week, we dived deeper into the power of revelation—how the Holy Spirit helps us understand things beyond what our eyes can see.
– The children learned that the Holy Spirit reveals truth, God’s will, and even the secrets of our hearts.
– Using the story of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-4), we saw how the Holy Spirit exposes dishonesty and helps us live with integrity.

We played a fun ‘Truth or Consequence’ game where the children had to decide if a statement was truthful or not—reminding them that God sees everything!

WHAT DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT DO? (Teaches, Counsels, and Convicts)

John 16:7-11; John 14:26

This lesson was truly an eye-opener! We discovered that the Holy Spirit is our Teacher, Counselor, and Helper.
– He teaches us the truth about Jesus.
– He counsels us when we don’t know what to do.
– He convicts us when we do something wrong, gently guiding us back to God.

The children enjoyed role-playing real-life scenarios, where they had to listen to their ‘inner voice’ (representing the Holy Spirit) and decide what to do. We learned that the Holy Spirit never shouts—He whispers truth into our hearts.

HOW DO I RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT?

John 7:37-39; Acts 9:17; 10:42-45

This was one of the most exciting lessons of the month!
– The children learned that receiving the Holy Spirit is not complicated—it is a gift from God!
– We talked about how the Holy Spirit comes when we believe in Jesus, ask for Him, and open our hearts.

We ended the class with a beautiful prayer session, asking the Holy Spirit to fill us with His presence. It was a powerful and beautiful moment!

MARCH: AN EXCITING MONTH AHEAD!

Guess what? March is going to be even more fun! Mark your calendars because we have some amazing activities coming up:

✅ Parents’ Forum – “Thriving at a Time Like This in a Christian Home”

✅ Mothering Sunday Celebration – A heartwarming day to honor and celebrate our wonderful mothers!

✅ Arts & Crafts Day – A creative day where the children will make Bible-inspired crafts, express their faith through art, and have lots of fun!

Final Thoughts & Prayer

As we wrap up this month, we pray:
Dear Holy Spirit,
Thank You for teaching us, guiding us, and helping us grow. Fill our hearts with Your presence and lead us in all we do. May we always listen to Your voice and walk in Your ways. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Thank you, parents, for your continued support! We love seeing your children grow in faith, and we can’t wait for what’s ahead. Sunday School is not just learning—it’s an adventure with God!

See you in March for more fun, faith, and fellowship!

With love,
