"THE WORKINGS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: John 16:8-11(And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.)

Lord Jesus, great Shepherd and Bishop of our Souls, guide us Your sheep into paths of green pastures; help us not to stray from Your flock and give us faith in Your Guidance who is the way, the truth and the life and dwells in the unity of the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
JUSTIFIED BY FAITH THROUGH THE GOOD SHEPHERD – Romans 4:5
Faith of our fathers, living still
In spite of dungeon, fire and sword,
O how our hearts beat high with joy
Whene’er we hear that glorious word!
Faith of our fathers! holy faith!
We will be true to thee till death!
Justification by faith does not draw attention to ourselves and our great faith but rather to Christ and God’s great work of redemption. So, justification is pardon or forgiveness of all past sins that comes solely through faith, which is a sure trust and confidence that Christ died for us in order to salvage us from eternal damnation. It is the act of God the Father whereby, for the sake of the propitiation made by the blood of Jesus, the good shepherd, who laid His life for our redemption, He showed forth His righteousness by the remission of the sins that are past.
So, who are then justified? The ungodly who the good shepherd seeks and saves.
Let us therefore, appreciate the goodness and love of the good shepherd who sacrificed His life for our redemption.
May the good Lord help us to continually commit our lives to the things of God, so that we may attain heaven at last in Jesus’ name. Amen.
