"THE WORKINGS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: John 16:8-11(And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.)

Hasten, O Father, the coming of Your kingdom; and grant that we Your servants, who now live by faith, may with joy behold Your Son at His coming in glorious majesty; even Jesus Christ, our only Mediator and Advocate. Amen.
Almighty God, by your Holy Spirit, you have made us one with your saints in heaven and on earth: Grant that in our earthly pilgrimage we may always be supported by this fellowship of love and prayer, and know ourselves to be surrounded by their witness to your power and mercy. We ask this for the sake of Jesus Christ, in whom all our intercessions are acceptable through the Spirit, and who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
THE GOD OF JUSTICE AND LOVE
- Romans 3:24-27
It is the love that God has for mankind that made Him as the just God to justify sinners. He is the righteous God who declares sinners righteous. God through the love He demonstrated to man sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the debt we owe by shedding His blood for us. If not of the love of God towards us, we would have perished because the wages of sin is death (Romans 3:23)
God justice demands that the sinners die (Ezek. 18:4) but God’s love availed for us, that through redemption and substitution, Jesus paid for our penalty for sin (John 3:16).
It is imperative that we reciprocate the act of God’s love by devoting our lives absolutely to Him, so that the works of redemption that Jesus did on our behalf will not be in vain.
May the Lord help us to appreciate God’s love for us so that we will live our lives pleasing Him in Jesus’ name. Amen.
