God our Father, Your Word has come among us in the Holy Child of Bethlehem. Grant that Your Word may illuminate our hearts and shine in our words and deeds so that all your children may grow up strong in body, sound in mind, and trained in spirit, through Him who is Christ the Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

DO YOU HAVE THEM AT HEART?

Jesus said, children should not be forbidden from coming to Him, for theirs is the kingdom of God. God also asked Moses the question that “what is that in thine hand”? (Exodus 4:12). So, what kind of power that is in our hand as a Church/Chapel to put the children in the way of the Lord? Proverbs says “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). The expectation of the Chapel is to show them love, make them feel safe in a dangerous world, those of them who feel worthless, those who see no hope and nothing worth living for, see that there is a hope in Christ and most importantly, to lead them to the kingdom of God. Let us wake up to or responsibility because anything done on earth shall be recorded in heaven. May the good Lord help us. Amen
