Eternal God and creator of the universe, Your Son Jesus Christ has promised those who believe in Him His Peace that surpasses all understanding here on earth and in eternity, grant that we will be truthful in our dealings, so that we will enjoy His peace here on earth and inherit His eternal peace hereafter, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

BENEFIT OF PEACE WITH GOD – Romans 5:2

As a result of our justification by faith, Paul writes, we have peace with God. It is important to note that we have peace with God, this is the re-assurance we receive through faith. Peace of God is the calm centre we can find in the midst of life’s storms and peace with others which is the stillness we find inside when there is a challenge. Note that the greatest peace in the world is not just knowing that we are saved or we are children of God or heaven is our home but that Jesus is our Saviour and we are saved by His grace and can never reverse or lose that salvation and that we are children of God forever because of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Having known this, the devil can never touch us because we are God’s possession.

May the good Lord help us to experience all round peace in our lives in Jesus’ name. Amen.
