Immortal and Invincible God who in Your mercies have given us the burden to serve You in our fellow humans who are physically challenged, grant that we will continue to serve You truthfully and walk in Your truth all the days of our lives, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
PRINCIPLE OF CARING FOR THE NEEDY – John 5:5-8
Caring was one of the major duties of Jesus’ earthly ministry. He has also commanded us as Christians to do likewise. Jesus, while fulfilling His ministry brought succour to the helpless, who needed assistance both spiritually and physically. We have a lot of people around us who are in need of our little help and if such help or assistance is rendered, Christ and the kingdom of God will be projected and a crown of glory will also be given to us at the end of age. The principle of caring for the poor include but are not limited to the following:
Remember Jesus says, as long as you do these to the least of my brethren, you have done it for me – Matt. 25:40.
May the Lord help us to contribute our quota to the well being of the needy. Amen.
