"THE WORKINGS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: John 16:8-11(And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.)

O God, the strength of all who put their trust in You, mercifully accept our prayers, and because through the weakness of our mortal nature, we can do no good thing without You, grant us the help of Your grace, that in obeying Your commandments, we may please You in will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with You and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, the triune God, world without end. Amen.
JUSTIFYING GRACE – Eph. 2:8-9
Grace! ’tis a charming sound,
Harmonious to the ear;
Heav’n with the echo shall resound,
And all the earth shall hear.
Saved by grace alone;
This is all my plea-
Jesus died for all mankind,
And Jesus died for me
Justifying grace is all about how we come to accept the relationship God offers. This grace moves in our hearts the gift of a living relationship with God as the number one priority in our lives. It puts us right with God. Therefore, to be justified is to be put right with God by grace through our faith.
It is true that God is loving and keep on loving us even when we are not faithful. Just like the prophet Hosea and the unfaithful wife, Gomer (Hosea 1:2), God’s endless love does not give up on us.
What can sustain our relationship with Him and make us justified in the grace of God is our continued obedience to His ordinances. In it the affairs of the world will not control us because we are being sustained in grace through our obedience to Him.
I enjoin all of us to keep firm in the Lord so that we can be justified and not take the grace of God for us for granted.
May the good Lord help us to remain obedient in the grace of God till our lives end in Jesus’ name. Amen.
GRACE GREATER THAN OUR SIN
1 Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,
Grace that exceeds our sin and guilt,
Yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured,
There where the blood of the Lamb was split.
Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin.
2 Dark is the stain that we cannot hide,
What can avail to wash it a way?
Look! There is flowing a crimson tide;
Whiter than snow you may be today.
3 Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace,
Freely bestowed on all who believe;
All who are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive?
