"THE WORKINGS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: John 16:8-11(And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.)

Gracious God, Your Son Jesus Christ, who was crucified on the Cross at Calvary for the redemption of the sin of humanity is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Grant that Your Church will speak and stand for the truth in all things through the same Jesus Christ who reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever more. Amen.
JUSTIFICATION AT THE CROSS – Gal. 3:24
The justification of sinners from the beginning to the end is by the free grace of God, through the life and death, of Jesus Christ. The word freely in the original means without cause and this describes the character of those whom God justified for Christ’s sake, at the cross. God declares sinners just (perfectly righteous) on account of the Lord Jesus Christ. Having fully accomplished the work, all the blessings of forgiveness and pardon were immediately applied to the account of those for whom He finished it. In time, God causes all whom He has redeemed and justified in Christ to look to Christ alone as their only ground of justification. They are to believe on Him, and rest on in His work accomplished and applied for them at the cross. Therefore, we need to look on the redemptive work that Jesus accomplished for us and be grateful always.
