Dear Parents, Guardians, and Beloved Children,
What a joyful and power-packed month it’s been! 🌟 May brought so much learning, laughter, prayer, and celebration to our Sunday School family. From Bible study and praise to our unforgettable Children’s Day events, every Sunday was filled with purpose and joy. Let’s take a look at all that we experienced together:
May 4 – First BISAPP of the Year!
Topic: New Wine in New Skin – Holy Spirit Baptism
Memory Verse: Romans 12:2
We launched our very first BISAPP (Bible Study & Prayer Project) session of the year!
– The children learned about the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and how He fills us with new life when we believe.
– They explored what it means to be “renewed” and how we can live differently through the Holy Spirit’s help.
– It was a deep and meaningful session that set the tone for the rest of the month.
May 11 – Prayer & Praise Sunday
Topic: The Holy Spirit in the Life of God’s Children
Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 14:15
Guest Preacher: Mrs. Olaiya
This was a Sunday to remember!
– Our hearts and hands were lifted in praise as the children sang and clapped joyfully to the Lord.
– Mrs. Olaiya taught us how the Holy Spirit helps us pray and worship God both in spirit and in truth.
– We also spent time in heartfelt prayer, asking God to guide us and fill our lives with His presence.
May 18 – Benefits of Witnessing
Memory Verse: Proverbs 11:30
As we continued our theme of witnessing, the children learned about the rewards and blessings that come from telling others about Jesus.
– They were encouraged to be bold in sharing their faith and to know that even their small voices can plant big seeds!
– We shared stories, Bible verses, and had group discussions that made this topic come alive in a very practical way.
May 25 – Children’s Day Service & Games!
Topic: Prayer
Memory Verse: Romans 8:26
On Children’s Day Sunday, the kids completely took over the service—and they did a phenomenal job!
– They preached, led prayers, read Bible passages, and coordinated the entire worship session like seasoned ministers.
– After the service, we had an exciting round of games, laughter, and fun, reminding us that learning about God can also be a joyful adventure.
May 27 – The Party of the Month!
We wrapped up Children’s Day with an awesome party that was full of excitement!
– There were snacks, music, dancing, and lots of smiles all around.
– It was our way of saying “Well done!” to the children for all the hard work and spiritual growth they’ve shown this year.
Coming Up in June – 58th Sunday School Anniversary!
Yes, it’s true! Our beloved Sunday School is turning 58!
– We’ll be marking this beautiful milestone with a celebration full of thanksgiving, reflections, and more!

Dear Lord,
Thank You for an incredible month of growth, joy, and spiritual impact. Thank You for our children, our teachers, and our parents. May the seeds planted in May flourish in the hearts of our little ones. Prepare us for even greater things in June and beyond. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
