SHADOW
The Darkness in my image,
Following me about in lighted space.
Disappearing in total darkness,
My shadow, your shadow, our shadows.
Obstacles to light form shadows.
When light passes through no shadows.
Shadow announces light’s emergence.
In diverse shapes of light obstacles.
A shadow is absent in darkness,
When truth is absent and conscience dead,
Shadowless embrace of darkness.
The darkness of the shadow of death itself.
Reign of death, reign of darkness.
Those engulfed are loveless, hopeless and clueless.
Oblivious of danger, deviant of God.
To have a shadow at all is Grace at work.
Shadows follow people around,
When exposed to light and truth.
Making the conscience unsettled,
And the soul hungry for grace and immortality.
Embrace the truth, yielding to it’s leading,
In transparent honesty and activated faith,
Will elevate from having shadow to shadowless.
When light and truth pass through unhindered.
So, say bye, bye to shadows,
Embracing the habit of absolute honestly,
And inquisitive enquiring of truth concealed,
Bursting into a new day, shadowless, glorious.
The word of truth slays before it heals,
Pulling shadowless people out of sin-darkness into the light,
Giving awareness of sin-shadows peculiar to each,
To repent, confess and forsake sin in transparent shadowlessness.
Which of the three are you?
Shadowless in sin, hardened, with seared dead conscience, or
Shadow–followed, with stirred, troubled conscience, or
Shadowless in light and truth embrace, condemnation free?
