The oil that makes social mechanisms run smooth.
An interplay between strangeness, familiarity and acceptance.
Every relationship stands on two legs.
One leg is Acceptance and the other Performance.
In most cases, acceptance comes first,
To be consolidated by performance.
Acceptance is the display of faith.
Performance is the display of loyalty.
Pitifully, loyalty is a virtue too high for some,
Those struggling with greed and self-centeredness.
Temptation happens when inclinations meet baiting environments,
Then loyalty would dance naked in the market place.
Victory of loyalty over temptation is the path of honour.
The challenges of acceptance is all about human unpredictability.
Acceptance is the invitation to community fellowship.
Some may be in the fellowship in self-aggrandizement,
Putting strain and chaos in the relationship.
Synergy and peace reign supreme in relationships with loyalty.
Relationships can be vertical or horizontal.
A strong vertical relationship invigorates the horizontal.
Only the ignorant claims a strong vertical relationship,
While the horizontal relationships are in tatters.
God asked the question, “where is your brother?”
All the “Cains” answered “am I my brother’s keeper?”
People can be religious yet be viciously wicked!
Giving at the altar while neglecting the hungered.
How easy to merely mouth acceptance!
Performance is tough in godly selflessness!
May we receive grace to trust and accept one another.
And greater grace to love and perform duties. Amen.

Real acceptance is shown in great performance.
Take heed, relationship is the basis of God’s final judgment.
