Sunday School End of Month Newsletter – July 2026
Dear Sunday School Family,
Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
We thank God for His faithfulness throughout the month of July. It was a month filled with learning, fellowship, worship, and joyful outreach as we continued exploring the blessings of God’s covenant. From our monthly BISAPP and Round Table discussions to our annual Children’s Mission, the Lord reminded us that He loves us deeply, desires fellowship with us, and is worthy of all our praise.
Our July Journey
Throughout the month, we continued under our central theme, “God of Covenant,” exploring more of the Benefits of Covenant. Each lesson helped the children understand that God’s covenant is more than a promise—it is a relationship that brings love, fellowship, healing, and countless blessings. We ended the month on a high note with our much-anticipated Annual Children’s Mission, where learning and fun came together to create lasting memories.
What We Learned This Month
On Sunday, July 5th, we held our third BISAPP (Bible Study and Prayer Project) for the year. Auntie Umarani ministered on the topic “The Apple of God’s Eye” from Deuteronomy 32:6–14. Our memory verse was Zechariah 2:8. The children learned that they are precious and deeply loved by God. Just as the apple of the eye is carefully protected, God lovingly watches over His children and cares for them. They were encouraged to trust in God’s unfailing love and remain close to Him. We also had our monthly Round Table session, where the children participated in engaging discussions and shared meaningful insights together.
On Sunday, July 12th, we continued our study under the sub-theme “Benefits of Covenant” with the topic “Fellowship.” Auntie Teni taught from 1 John 1:3, Exodus 33:11, Genesis 18:17–22, and Genesis 5:22–24. Our memory verse was 1 Corinthians 1:9. The children learned that one of the greatest blessings of God’s covenant is the privilege of enjoying fellowship with Him. Through examples like Moses, Abraham, and Enoch, they saw that God desires a close and personal relationship with His children. They were encouraged to spend time with God daily through prayer, worship, and studying His Word.
On Sunday, July 19th, Auntie Kichi taught on the topic “Healing” from Exodus 15:26, Exodus 23:25–26, Matthew 8:14–16, and James 5:13–16. Our memory verse was 1 Peter 2:24. The lesson reminded the children that healing is one of the benefits of living in covenant with God. They learned that God is still our Healer and that we can confidently bring our needs before Him in faith, trusting in His power to heal, restore, and strengthen us according to His perfect will.
On Saturday, July 25th, and Sunday, July 26th, we held our much-anticipated Annual Children’s Mission. This year’s theme was “A Heart That Acknowledges God as Being Praiseworthy,” with the text taken from Romans 1:20–21 and the memory verse from Psalm 103:1. The programme was led by Mr. Tolu and Mrs. Tosin Oladipo.
The mission was truly a memorable experience for everyone. Saturday was filled with exciting games, interactive teaching sessions, a film show, a puppet presentation, and many fun activities that kept the children engaged while teaching valuable biblical lessons. The excitement continued on Sunday as we gathered once again for worship, learning, and fellowship. It was a wonderful weekend of praising God, growing in His Word, and building friendships. We thank God for His presence throughout the programme and for every life that was impacted.
Looking Ahead to August
We are excited as we look forward to our Annual Sunday School Children’s Camp, taking place from 16th to 23rd August 2026. Camp is always a special time of spiritual growth, fellowship, learning, and fun, and we encourage every child to be part of this life-changing experience.

A Word of Encouragement
July reminded us that we are deeply loved by God, called into fellowship with Him, and privileged to enjoy the many blessings of His covenant. As we continue to walk with Him, may we always remember that He watches over us, heals us, guides us, and deserves all our praise.
Let us continue to raise children who know God’s Word, love His presence, and boldly live out their faith each day.
May God bless every child, parent, teacher, and friend of our Sunday School.
Stay blessed and continue walking in God’s covenant!
